2-1/2" Black Tension Band for Chain Link Fences

When it comes to building a chain link fence, you need a number of accessory parts in addition to posts, top rail, and chain link fabric. One of the most essential accessories to have for your fencing project is a tension band! Used in combination with tension bars, this band not only helps attach chain link fabric between posts; it also stretches fabric into a state of tension, thereby enhancing the security of your fence! The tension provided in part by this band & tension bar helps keep out intruders and prevents animals and children from easily crawling underneath the fabric.

To attach a tension band, slide it over and down the terminal post of your chain link fence. Space all tension bands apart equally, then slide the bolts through the tangs of the band and tighten them! It's easiest if you slide the tension bar through the fabric first, pull it to the terminal post then secure it with tension bands!
