While chain link fabric is resilient, the bottom can still allow animals through without a tension wire running along it. Hog rings are commonly used to "pinch" the tension wire to the chain link fabric along the bottom to prevent it from being pushed out. All you need to install them is a pair of pliers! Simply place the hog ring height-wise within the grip of your pliers, with the opening of the ring facing forward. Hold where you want to join the tension wire to your fabric then clamp down with the pliers so that the hog ring pinches the tension wire and the fabric together! We recommend 1 hog ring every 2 feet.
