Wood fences are the most common fences around and consist of posts, rails and pickets!

Japanese cedar or "Sugi" are kiln dried to reduce its moisture content which in turn means less shrinkage than non-kiln dried pickets! It has a lighter color than traditional western red cedar, has a modern-minimalist look, resistant to decay and insects, and has a pleasant, tranquil aroma!

Pickets are the vertical pieces that attach to the rails which are attached to the posts.
